Mueller Family. Holiday Session. Los Angeles Family Photographer.

Maybe it’s the cold weather or all of the hopes for the new year, but there’s just something about the holidays that brings family and friends closer together. Well, whatever it is, this year I am very blessed to have many new friends in my life, especially Nea, from Laced Blissed and Love Photography. We met a little over a half a year ago and now we aren’t just colleagues, but friends that text, talk, and hang out when we can (or when we have time…she has triplets) to share our happy, funny and silly stories and cheese. Nea, I feel blessed to have you in my life as a friend and someone I can count on at midnight to share a my concern or ask a question about anything from motherhood to photography.

I was honored when Nea asked me to photograph her family, not just her adorable triplets and husband, but the whole entire Mueller fam bam. I thought wow, I hope I do their gorgeous family justice. Everyone was so fun, stylish, and beautiful. Mueller family (Mr. and Mrs. Mueller, Leinea, Moriah, Elisha, and your seven grandchildren), thank you for allowing me to see a glimpse into your family’s life. I hope you love the photos…because I sure do! Merry Christmas and I hope you have a fabulous new year!

Mr. and Mrs. Mueller seriously look like they could be siblings to their children, or at least a young aunt and uncle.
Right here you two look like movie stars.I thought Jayden was her daughter, not granddaughter. Then I was nicely corrected and we all had a good laugh.
Moriah just had this sweet little pea a couple of months ago and look at her in that dress…umm not fair. Moriah, you rock on with your bad self! She continues to put all the new mommies to shame. I’m not hating, I just want to know her secret….heheheThe triplets….ahh I love them. Can they get any cuter in their little swaged out velvet suits? Nea, hello hottness! And now the Mueller son…this family has amazing genes. FOREAL!
So sweet.
Another fierce couple.Mr. and Mrs. Mueller, you have a beautiful family.I was a little nervous that we couldn’t get the triplets to envision me as an elf…or maybe they did, but a scary elf. Ha!

Amber Jo & Charles. Maternity. Los Angeles Maternity Photographer.

During the Christmas season, I like to hold on a little tighter to everyone I love. It definitely is the most wonderful time of the year, but its not because of the giddy songs, or tubs of butter that go into cookie making, or even the finely wrapped Christmas presents under the tree. This time is the most wonderful because we spend quality minutes, hours, and days just being with our families. Life just seems a million times more precious when a new baby is ready to come into the world. Amber Jo and Charles will also snuggle a little closer, kiss a little longer, and hold hands a little tighter because this February they will be blessed with a sweet baby boy.

The Crimes have been married for almost six years now and are both in the nursing field, so this awesome couple is truly prepared and ready to welcome their little one at the end of this winter season. Amber Jo currently works at UCLA medical center and Charles attended my alma mater, UCIrvine, for a bit and then finished up at UCLA… so you know baby Cayden will have some blue and gold running through his veins (personally I love my cardinal and gold 🙂 Fight On!). During the session, this cute couple was super prepared with their own baby props, a change of outfit, and a ton of ideas to help create a personalized maternity session. The Crimes thought it would be fun to add a little Christmas flair into their session, so we found the biggest, baddest tree around and made it happen! Guess what? The tree is 100% real too. The Americana doesn’t mess around! Amber Jo and Charles also wanted to get some photos inside Barnes and Noble with the one of the trendiest and cutest books of the  year, The Elf on the Shelf. I can’t wait to use this book and little elf with my son when he gets a little bit older. We ended the session with some gorgeous silhouette photos in a very unexpected location…try to figure out where 🙂

Congratulations Amber Jo and Charles! You two (I mean three) are adorable! I’m so excited to also be able and photograph little Cayden when he arrives.

See what I mean, biggest tree ever!Little Cayden is going to have one good looking grin on him. C is for Cayden. These two, always so studious. Amber Jo, you are one gorgeous mama to be!I posted two similar pictures because I adore it. Love, love, love! He’s already going to rock the Toms!
I can’t get enough of your beauty, Amber. My second favorites.

Janelle. First Year. Orange County Baby Photographer.

This little one is cute and she knows it! Janelle, will turn the big ONE this December. Along with her cuteness and sass, Nellie (as her parents call her) looked adorable in her embroidered Mexican dress and hot pink flower. To add a little icing to the cake, mommy and daddy brought along a bunch of Mexican-themed accessories. There was also another theme that I oh so loved, PINK! Her hot pink dress and blanket were perfect to enhance Nellie’s bright personality. Maybe just once I had to jump up and down, and act like a crazy person to get a giggle out of her. Most of the times when I do this, kids just look at me like I’m some weirdo with a monstrous camera in their face. Despite the fact that it was raining off and on during our entire session, Nellie was also super well behaved. Nellie is in love with her parents just as much as they are with her. And I’m in love with their cute little family!

Happy first Birthday Janelle! Remember you owe my son a play date! Hee He he.
Just excuse her twinkle toes. She’s quite the flexible one for sure!My favorite! Can a photo be cute and comical at the same time? You decide, but I think so. Nellie…stop screaming at me, I’m sorry for taking so many photos of you..ahhh!Seriously. This has to be my second favorite because daddy is just way into giving his little baby girl the biggest smooch ever. Love it!I think this one is hilariously cute because she looks like she throwing up “West Side”…lol Janelle, has mommy been teaching you baby signing? Look at all these pretty colors and Janelle just adds even more prettiness.Looks like she got caught. Caught being cute.Sweetness.

Lee Family. Holiday Session. Los Angeles Holiday Photographer.

There is something magical about capturing smiles in front of sparkly green and red anything. No matter if it’s smack in the middle of summer I can begin to imagine glowing Christmas lights and the smell of freshly baked sugar cookies. That’s why if you want me start day dreaming show me any old tree filled with red ornaments and BAM! I’m gone into thinking of sugar plums dancing in my head. I love ALL holidays, and this one is like I mentioned the most magical. The Lee family had me jumping for joy during their Holiday Session.

Lala and Jeff were high school sweethearts. Like most sugary sweet love stories, they got married, had an adorable boy and a few years later a darling girl. You guys are lucky to be blessed with two beautiful children that just happen to be a boy and girl-an awesome combo! I just want to squeeze your kiddies cheeks and spend the day being their very own paparazzi. Lee family, I had so much fun watching you guys just do what you do, which is acting completely cute all the time! Merry Christmas and have a super wonderful Happy New Year! These kids are scrumptious even when they are silly.Beautiful family! My favorite! We decided to stop for one of my most favorite things in the world. Ice cream! Side note: When I was little I think I went to the original Farrell’s, in the San Gabriel Valley, and I felt like I was Charlie, from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory because I was just in awe of all the sweet goodness, but I secretly wished I was Veruca Salt and had golden hair with a bad attitude. I’m just sayin’. After all of that whip cream we headed to nature.PINK!
