Venessa | Maternity | Vista Hermosa

I met Venessa a few years ago when we taught at the same school in Los Angeles. She was a sweet gal who loved her profession as well as children. So, I always knew she’d make for an incredible mama! Then a couple of years later I took her and her husband’s Anniversary photos at their alma mater, Loyola Marymount University and I was like, “When is this fun couple going to make a baby?!” Ha, and now here we are celebrating their baby boy bump (actually he already arrived and is as cute as can be)! Oh and her sweet grandma made these super soft and cute baby booties and sweater! Yes!!! Yared & Jimmy | Engaged | Downtown Los Angeles

You know that tingly feeling you get inside when you know it was just mean to be? That moment when you’re like I like that too, that’s what I like to do for fun too…a hundred and one “toos” make you feel like you were just made to connect. That’s exactly how I felt when I met Yared! Ha, you thought I was talking about their love hugh? Okay, okay I was talking about them at first and then me. Yared, could you believe was my very first “Instagram” client? I met her and was like we need to be friends! She’s adorable, sweet, ultra creative, has incredible style, and the list can go on. Then I met Jimmy and I thought, yeah they are perfect for each other. He loves her beyond measure, makes her laugh, and has a fun little style of his own. Together they love coffee, traveling, hip and urban foodie places, and they love DTLA.

I’ve been photographing their Christmas photos for the last few years now, so I was ecstatic when they got engaged and even more so when they asked me to shoot their enagement session. Then we went to the 6th Street Bridge before it closed and I was dead. You know in that good Instagram hip lingo kinda dead. They made magic of course and well you can see the rest for yourself!

Yared | Grad Session | California State University, Los Angeles

This girl! She’s got it going on for sure. A few years back we connected through Instagram and she started signing up for my Holiday Minis with her perfectly paired boyfriend (now fiancé). She’s always so sweet, kind, and one creative gal. Her feed is inspirational and yummy to look at because she posts a lot of delish food on there from the most unique coffee shops in LA. Now after a few years of studying and late nights she’s graduated. Yared received her bachelors degree from Cal State LA in Sociology and I couldn’t be happier for her! Well deserved pretty young thing, well deserved! Liliana. Maternity. Los Angeles Maternity Photographer.

Pregnancy is a beautiful time in a woman’s life. It makes you feel more alive then you’ve ever felt. Liliana has felt more alive in her heart and spirit as she awaits the arrival of her new son. Little Javier Jr., is expected to make his debut on December 7th. This little guy will be an extra special birth for both Liliana and Javier the first. A few years ago, Liliana had lost her brother and the very next year she lost her father. The emptiness in her life will soon be refilled with the joy of having a family. Javier will get to share his new baby boy with his son, Javier Isaiah, and daughter Karina. Both kids are ready and looking forward to playing and kissing their new brother all up!

Liliana found a magical little spot up in the hills that has one of the most jaw dropping views of down town Los Angeles.

Congratulations to you and your family! I can’t wait to meet your little one.Liliana you are a beauty!
These two are my favorite. I just love the lighting. It totally adds to the warmth and happiness that this couple share!
