All the honey\u2019s who makin\u2019 money, throw your hands up at me.\u201d I know, I know, but I couldn\u2019t resist shouting out this Destiny\u2019s Child\u2019s anthem, which couldn\u2019t be anymore perfect for my friend, Arlene. In a perky and bubbly tone she would always say \u201chey gurrl,\u201d and I would respond with a slightly less confident, \u201chey.\u201d But, that\u2019s Arlene, very self-assured and personable. So, it doesn\u2019t surprise me that she\u2019s made more than a name for herself. She\u2019s ventured out into the hustle and bustle world of law, and is paving the way with her two pointed black velvet BCBG pumps. Not only does Arlene rock the courthouse with her excellent education from UCI and La Verne Law, her glamorous style and latin sizzle give her counter arguments extra pizazz. Arlene currently works for the woman, that\u2019s right my girl has her own firm where she specializes in family law.<\/p>\n

After knowing and keeping a friendship with Arlene for over ten years now, I\u2019m still honored that she chose me to help her spread her pretty professional face around town. I wasn\u2019t nervous at all because if anyone knows Arlene, even just as an acquaintance, then you would know that she makes any situation fabulous. I knew we would have fun, but it was my first \u201cprofessional\/business\u201d type session and I didn\u2019t want the results to come out looking like something from a cheesy 1990\u2019s photo for a Larry H. Parker ad (No offense Larry). I decided to take a more sophisticated approach, which Arlene nailed with her beautiful, yet \u201cI\u2019m gonna put a smack down on you\u201d in court girly swag.<\/p>\n
