Patty, Art, Santino, Sebastian, Caleb. Family. Orange County Family Photographer.

The definition next to the word family should include: Safe. Of course when a family is together they should feel loved and have fun, but I think the most important feeling a child can have is feeling safety with his mother and father. Patty and Art have provided that safety net for their beautiful family of five. I could just tell the way they held each other, spoke to one another, and played throughout our session that Patty and Art have established a very secure, nurturing, and loving home for their three boys.

During this session on this beautiful Southern California afternoon, their three boys kept me on my toes. I had to think fast and photograph even faster but at the end of the evening the images we created seemed so serene that you would have never known I was getting in my 5K workout for the week. Along with all of their fun spirited personalities, Patty and Art’s boys were also affectionate and gentle toward each other. Patty and Art you have a gorgeous family that I can tell is filled with extra love and and tenderness. Excellent job! By the way Patty looks way too darn hot for her youngest only being four months. I mean! The photo below is my “favorite fave (think of my camera as a huge clock around my neck)!”

Jr. Smash. Los Angeles Family Photographer.

Look at him! Happy first birthday little Junior. Lily, Jr.’s mama, asked me to help her come up with a winter wonderland theme for her winter baby. So I thought…..and thought…..and came up with a white winter camping concept. As soon as I saw Jr. change into his Smash outfit,  I was floored. Too adorable I tell you! The hat, suspenders, and leggings….Oh my!. I’m glad I choose to go with all white because it matched just perfect with Jr who gave us little smiles here and there, but once his tummy was filled with the deliciousness of the cake he wasn’t shy anymore. Happy birthday little man!

Erika & Ryan. Engaged. Los Angeles Wedding Photographer.

She likes a glass of wine (my kinda girl) and he likes sip’n on Jameson. They’re like king salmon sashimi and a philadelphia hand cut….cuz that’s how they roll. Completely different yet totaly complimentary. The fact is they just work because of the most important things they value: family, their pups, and just being together. They met a few years ago at work and really knew how to keep their relationship on the D.L. (Down Low for all you non 90s kids…because you know I just love the 90s lame acronyms). Well, now let’s get back to the beautiful Erika and charming Ryan. They still carpool together and Erika still gets butterflies in her stomach when they are together. Isn’t that the best ever? I think that’s when you know you love the guy for sure!

So before Ryan became prince charming he kinda had an anticlimactic way of giving gifts for special holidays like Christmas, birthdays…you get the idea. That is until he laid the whopper on Erika a few months ago. On this particular weekend, Erika was running late (which she never does) while making their way to Vegas. She still had to pick up Ryan to catch their flight so of course she was a little irritated when he asked her to come inside and wait for him. As he met her before she entered the house, he was carrying his nephew….and there in his nephew’s tiny hands was a ring. He urged the little guy to give it to his Auntie Erika. She was floored. Not only was she make-upless but his entire family acted as if they were hired paparazzi for TMZ as they were photographing and videotaping this very special occasion. How could she resist Ryan’s super secretive surprise proposal?

Erika and Ryan I absolutely loved photographing the two of you. Seriously, fun, fun, fun! It’s pretty crazy how your dogs are totally like you two, completely different yet perfectly compatible. I can not wait until your wedding.

Diana, Ario & Baby Noah. Maternity. Orange County Maternity Photographer.

Hugs and kisses are definitely food for the soul. With a little princess on her way, this lovable family of three will soon be four. I have watched, prayed, and embraced Diana and Ario since before their first baby (Noah) was born. At about six months of age, he had to undergo Cranio surgery putting them through some tough times. Yet, no matter how many times their faith was tried, they continued to push forward and love on. Indeed they are blessed and during this season of hope and family, what could be a better gift then a newborn’s arrival? I’m certain that Noah will be a caring and protective older brother. During the session he smothered mama with love and played alongside dada. Although he is almost only two years young, you can tell by his little smirk that he knows his very own playmate will arrive soon. What’s even better is that Diana’s sister Emily is also expecting a girl and they are due just weeks apart. Lucky duckies I tell ya! These cousins are going to have a blast together. Diana and Ario, congratulations on your sweet pea! I can’t wait to meet her and dazzle up her newborn session with bows, sequins and of course some pink!

Kim & Victor, Eric & Isa. Family. Los Angeles Family Photographer.

Another year photographing this beautiful family of four. When I first met Kim and Victor…and their lovable littles, I wished one day I would have a pair of my own. Thanks for rubbing your boy and girl vibes on me Kim…it worked! I love the way these parents are so involved with their kids’ extra curricular activities and interests and of course wanting to document it all. Last year, Eric turned himself right into a crime-fighting super hero right in front of my own eyes (put a cape on and I’ll tell ya, magic!) and Isa loved all things girly like dressing up as a disney princess. Now, Eric is a baseball stud and Isa a prima ballerina. Kim, I’m totally going to borrow this idea from you. I want my kids to experience their interests, but I also want to be able remember them through beautiful images as well. Victor and Kim you have a precious set! Happy Holidays ya’ll:) cb13cb2cb3cb4cb5cb6cb7cb8cb9cb10cb11cb12cb14cb15cb16cb17cb18cb19cb21cb22cb23cb24cb25cb26cb27cb28cb29cb30cb31cb32cb33cb34cb35cb36cb37cb38cb39cb40cb41cb42cb43

Teresa & Vinnie. Married. Las Vegas Wedding Photographer.

If there are two people I know that like to have a good time, it’s Vinnie and Teresa. They couldn’t  have picked a better destination location for their vows. The day went like this, champagne, getting ready, vodka shots, the ceremony, a little more bubbly, and then…the after party at the Cosmo where everyone continuously toasted to the gorgeous bride and groom. Ya, that’s a Vegas wedding for you and I loved it! Did I mention Teresa is a Trojan. Oh I didn’t, well I just had to squeeze it in there (hee hee. Fight On!). As for Vinnie, he’s an accountant and a Marine Vet. Being fabulous party hosts and having a good times is just how they roll. During the ceremony, they the packed the wedding chapel with tender glances and a few tears thanks to the emotional groom. I’m pretty sure the back of my camera was a tad wet after I was done photographing the ceremony. Then we headed out to the strip and snapped a few photos here and there until it was time for everyone to party with the newlyweds at the Bond bar. I could try and explain how much fun everyone was having but I’ll just let you take a peek yourself. Teresa and Vinnie, thank you for allowing me to come along for your adventurous wedding weekend. I know the party just continued in Cabo on your honeymoon. When you get back, I want to hear all about it!tb42

Christine & Oscar. Married. San Clemente Wedding Photographer.

Her favorite snack is Hot Cheetos and cream cheese. He gave her a high-five during the ceremony. So, from the beginning I knew this wedding was going to be fun loving and easy going. Christine and Oscar are best friends. They know what the other is thinking, he can calm her anxious feelings and she makes him smile from ear-to-ear. Throughout their wedding day at The Wedgewood in San Clemente, they reminded me of how much fun new love is and that magical feeling you get on your wedding night. Don’t get me wrong, I still laugh and play with my husband, but after two kids our love has taken on a different form of romance. The newlywed love is intense and bubbly, like champagne. And who doesn’t love mimosas? Watching Christine and Oscar share that kind of heart-pounding, romantic, googley-eyed tenderness for one another makes me want to bottle up all that emotion and sprinkle it onto the whole wide world. Imagine if everyone gave their favorite person a high-five, held them tenderly cheek to cheek, and ate a piece of cake by the end of each day? Yup, everyone would feel just fabulous.

Their day made everyone smile. The groomsmen were dapper and the bridesmaids were elegant in their cobalt blue ballroom gown dresses. Christine and her girls looked flawless thanks to Erandy from Effortless Beauty. Christine was also stunning in her gorgeous white lace wedding dress and Cathedral-lenght veil (loved it!). Oscar looked just as handsome with his gray suit on…imagine how he’d look in his Marine blues (Yes, he’s still in active service). They looked perfect for their perfect day. Congratulations Christine and Oscar! I wish you all the happiness and then some!
