Jessica. Maternity. Orange County Maternity Photographer.

Her name will be Genevieve Anne. Jennifer’s pretty bump will have a middle name that has been passed down over a few generations from women in her family. This little lady  is fortunate to already have her room getting dolled up by her daddy, heirloom vintage clothing and furniture pieces passed down from her mother’s side and a whole lot of love from both families coming her way. Congratulations, baby Genevieve is already adored and I know once she arrives she will be as radiant as her mother in all of these images.

*Side note: My sister’s name is also Genevieve Ann, so as soon as we made that connection I knew she was another one of my prefect-for-me clients and she was also a little ecstatic at how we were kind of a perfect match too!

Carolina & David. Engaged. Viceroy Hotel Santa Monica Photographer.

They met at one of the least expected places- a gas station. He caught her eye and she caught his. She had never done this before (flirting while pumping gas) but she couldn’t resist his perfect smile and the fact that they were both coincidentally wearing workout clothes. Carolina thought it was silly and felt so giddy while talking to him, but she had this instant attraction for him. David pumped gas long enough for him to muster up the courage to ask for her number. They both were a bit embarrassed and excused themselves for being so romantically forward at a common pit stop. Still, they exchanged numbers. At that moment, they knew it was more then just their physical attraction that kept them intrigued. True love does exist and it’s more in the personal connection that sends explosions into our bodies, like fireworks on the forth of July. Just plain magic….”Call it Magic” (Sorry, I just broke out and sang)! As a Chiropractor, Carolina has a very busy work schedule, so one weekend David swept her away for a much needed relaxing mini-vacation. They had a massage at Glen Ivy, dinner at the W, and finally relaxed on the balcony of their hotel where he proposed like a boss. He got down on one knee and opened up the famous cube-shaped box. She was enchanted by his thoughtfulness and of course agreed. I love it when clients I’ve known from the past ask me to photograph these amazing moments in their lives because it’s like time is non-existent. We pick right up from where we left off(for Carolina it was in sigh school) and become re-kindled friendships. Carolina is a sweet as a sugar-coated Christmas cookie. She is one of the most giving people I know and I’m sure David loves that about her. David is shy but has a calm quality to him that just makes you feel at ease and secure when you are around him. He is Carolina’s knight in shinning armor and it shows by the way he glances at her with nothing but love in his eyes and touches her so tenderly. They are a match for sure, and did I mention they have a darling daughter. I’m looking forward to documenting their glances and much more this coming September. Can’t wait!

Caitlyn & Dave. Lifestyle. Orange County Lifestyle Photographer.

I recently had a little mentor session with Megan Welker, an inspiring and creative wedding photographer. I photographed Caitlyn and Dave alongside Megan and I felt like I was swimming in a sea of creamy goodness. Mr. & Mrs. Porter. Married. Los Angeles Wedding Photographer.

Their day had arrived. The day Lydia became Mrs. Porter (which she called herself throughout that afternoon and I thought was just so darn cute) and Kennis became her husband. Lydia was perfection, from her a-line lace vintage-inspired dress to her picture perfect smile.  From their ceremony to the reception, every single family member, friend, and guest was filled with love and laughter. Lydia’s father was an extra lucky man that afternoon. He very proudly gave away his daughter and was also the pastor that blessed their wedding vows. The Porters did not disappoint their guests, or myself (ahem) with the cutest honeypot and a delectable variety of individual pies. The sweet ceremony ended quickly, but the fun had just started as everyone, and I do mean ery-one glided onto the dance floor. The Porters sure know how to celebrate! By the way can someone please teach me the wobble? Congratulations to a super cool and fun couple, Mr. & Mrs. Porter! 2014-05-27_00522014-05-27_00432014-05-27_00132014-05-27_00142014-05-27_00452014-05-27_00152014-05-27_00162014-05-27_00462014-05-27_00472014-05-27_00172014-05-27_00192014-05-27_00182014-05-27_00482014-05-27_00212014-05-27_00222014-05-27_00552014-05-27_00232014-05-27_00562014-05-27_00252014-05-27_00572014-05-27_00262014-05-27_00272014-05-27_00582014-05-27_00282014-05-27_00292014-05-27_00592014-05-27_00302014-05-27_00312014-05-27_00322014-05-27_00602014-05-27_00612014-05-27_00332014-05-27_00342014-05-27_00632014-05-27_00622014-05-27_00352014-05-27_00362014-05-27_00372014-05-27_00642014-05-27_00542014-05-27_00202014-05-27_00492014-05-27_00512014-05-27_00502014-05-27_00392014-05-27_00402014-05-27_00412014-05-27_00652014-05-27_00682014-05-27_00692014-05-27_00702014-05-27_00712014-05-27_00722014-05-27_00742014-05-27_00732014-05-27_00752014-05-27_00762014-05-27_00772014-05-27_00782014-05-27_0053

Abbie. Newborn. Los Angeles Newborn Photographer.

Precious little Abbie was born a few days early. She arrived on April 30th when her due date was May 2nd. This gal weighed  6.17 pounds and 19 inches. Her mommy, Erika, may have had a c-section, but bounced right back in no time. Go mom! To say I’m delighted for Erika and Ryan is an understatement because in just a few months I will photograph this sweet family of three’s  (now) wedding. We were all chatting about how adorable Abbie might look as a flower girl. I think she deserves that job for sure! Stayed tuned folks, stay tuned! Congratulations Rafael family you make having a newborn seem effortless!2014-05-22_00322014-05-22_00422014-05-22_00392014-05-22_00412014-05-22_00402014-05-22_00252014-05-22_00262014-05-22_00272014-05-22_00292014-05-22_00302014-05-22_00352014-05-22_00582014-05-22_00332014-05-22_00342014-05-22_00312014-05-22_00282014-05-22_00372014-05-22_00432014-05-22_00452014-05-22_00442014-05-22_00472014-05-22_00462014-05-22_00482014-05-22_00502014-05-22_00492014-05-22_00512014-05-22_00522014-05-22_00532014-05-22_00562014-05-22_00542014-05-22_00552014-05-22_00572014-05-22_0036

Vanessa & Omir. Save The Date. Orange County Lifestyle Photographer.

Oh my sister’s wedding is just around the corner. She wanted a very specific look for her Save The Dates, so we tried the same pose a few times. If you think you are seeing double, you probably are! I also put my creative spin on a few of the photos too. My sister and her “Fifi” (short for fiancé) as she likes to call him are just glowing in each and every pose. Maybe it’s their love or maybe it was the glow from this awesome neon yellow tree behind them. Just kidding. They are madly deeply! Can you believe these are the all images that didn’t make the cut…yep the rejects. lol I just received their Save The Date and they are fab-u-lous! Polaroid like magnet-yes please!

Love you sisto and I guess Omir too. lol jk2014-05-21_00592014-05-21_00612014-05-21_00622014-05-21_00642014-05-21_00652014-05-21_00662014-05-21_00692014-05-21_00712014-05-21_00722014-05-21_00602014-05-21_00732014-05-21_0074

Sedona & Austin. Children. Los Angeles Child Photographer.

These two! Sedona (6 years) and Austin (7 months) are named after cities, so what better place to have a sister and brother session right in the heart of the city they live in, Echo Park. She likes Hello Kitty and he enjoys toy cars. Together they like to giggle and snuggle. Sedona, like most big sisters, loves to give him lots of hugs and kisses, and like any boy, her brother is just realizing all that ooey gooey stuff is a little gross. So he likes to wiggle out of her tight grip and she just laughs it off. Throughout the session both kiddies were posing like perfect little statues. Sedona was super charming. She danced, kart wheeled, and was pretty much fully animated the entire time I was snapping away. At the end she even serenaded me with my son’s favorite song, “Let it Go.” Austin was a chill little dude. He laughed, rolled over a bit, and played wherever we sat him. Sedona and Austin’s mama is one lucky ducky! She’s got a precious pair! sab1sab2sab3sab4sab5sab6sab7sab8sab9sab10sab11sab12sab13sab14sab15sab16sab17sab18sab19sab20sab21sab22sab23sab24sab25sab26sab27sab28sab29sab30sab31sab32sab33sab34sab35
