As we walked through the cap and gown-filled hallways and down the baby hills, we found ourselves almost dashing for the perfect spot to start Naomi’s undergrad graduation photo shoot at UCLA. Yes, it was a bit crowded with future bruin alumni and their “paparazzi.” I was among several photographers trying to get the perfect light, shot, and spot for my graduate. So as we waited for our turn to grab a snap under the Bruin Bear or in front of Royce Hall we chatted about Naomi’s ultra ambitious future in Psychology. Naomi wowed me when she said that after graduating she would attend a dual commuting Psychology intern program. She will have to travel to both UCLA and UCR and had no complaints about the commute whatsoever. After her internship she plans to start her PHd program in hopes that she would finish within five years and then work as a Psychologist with children. Wowzers! I was impressed. You go girl! Along with brains, Naomi was truly humble, sweet, and ever so beautiful. Throughout our evening of chatting and photographing her flawless style we got down and dirty and I challenged Naomi to climb to Bruin Bear to get, well a fantastic shot. This girl has killer long legs and still I pushed, she heaved, I shoved and she screamed, but in the end we laughed and got some pretty amazing and memorable pictures of her ridding the good ole bear. Oh by the way, as she was half way up she screamed, “but I’m afraid of heights!” Aye, this girl.
I absolutely loved our time spent laughing, almost crying and you still looked gorgeous! Congratulations sweetie and good luck with your amazing journey! I know you will be just excellent, especially since you will be rocking all those honors cords at graduation. Here’s a bit more of Naomi’s shoot.

I love silhouette photos. And these just scream pretty.
Gorgeous. I swooned over the dress, the color, and of course her sweet smile.

She was completely rocking every shot!

This glow kills me…so warm and pretty!
See we had fun…look no shoes:0
I’m so proud of her!

I always like to mention my favorites. These are my fave!

He totally deserves an ice-cream cone after this ear to ear smile.
Marivella, your eyes are so gorgeous and sincere.

Tummy love!
I was always jealous of Marivella’s thick and luxurious hair…and I still am!

If he could he would make everyone play “baal” with him all day long.

He was just a tad bit afraid of the water. Thank goodness I’m taking him for lessons this summer!
Thank you husband for listening to my direction on how to photograph us:)
I was not that brave. Sad, but true.
Love these girls!
Some little sister is about to be a big sister very soon.
This is exactly what I’m talking about. I will remember how my son, at 15 months, loved to give the most amazing hugs…to anyone that would accept them.

I adore my sisters, and I guess we were all using the same color swatch while shopping.
My husband was behind the lens in all theses shots. He’s not so bad, huh?

And here he is, busy getting into some sort of shinanigans.
Seriously a gorgeous smile!

Confidant and ready!

Can she be any more breathtaking?
Teachers always know how to have fun!

See you have to have a sense of humor to work with jr. high kids.
Hopefully she has a tough side, because she’s gonna need it to handle those pubescent trouble makers.
Danielle, like myself, also loves Etsy. She ordered this planet bracelet. Way cool!

Done! Done! Done!

She has the bluest eyes I’ve ever seen! Pretty.

I seriously love them all! Great shots!
